In July 2014, M and I took the Oklahoma Bar Exam with the intent of staying in Oklahoma. After 3 grueling months of bar prep, a wonderful trip to Mexico, and 8 long weeks of waiting…. We both passed! We were both lucky enough to graduate with job offers, so we went straight into the working world.
After 18 months practicing in Oklahoma (as a prosecutor and private civil defense attorney), we were faced with a tough decision. We weighed all the options and decided the best move for us was back to Texas. #family.
We packed up and shipped out from OKC to Dallas, TX in December of 2015. We studied for the Texas Bar Exam and took the exam in February 2016 and passed!
