After years of an individual practice, I decided it was time to take the plunge into expanding my yogi life. In January, I began my yoga teacher certification journey with Black Swan Yoga. I was nervous at first, sure that I didn’t know enough to go down this path. But, the amazing leaders of Black Swan Yoga provided a comfortable, safe space for education and growth.
Focusing on anatomy, asanas, and alignments has been amazing for my mind, body, and personal practice. Every Tuesday and the first Saturday of each month, I met up with a wonderful group of humans who experienced physical and emotional growth.. and 9 months later.. I was done!
I am so happy to have had the opportunity to meet these amazing women and men. I know these are forever friendships. They’re my forever support system. My sounding board. And my accountabilibuddies. Making sure I keep up with our community, my practice, and our friendships!
I will be forever grateful for this year. I can’t wait to give back to our community here in San Antonio. I am excited to see what comes next! Goal: transition into a studio family! Stay tuned for updates, blog posts, and hopefully! a class schedule. More to come soon!
